Tom and Bob really go out of their way to make visitors comfortable, including taking special requirements into account. The guest house is ideally placed for the tennis courts and other activities, and the beach is just a few minutes’ walk away. I’d thoroughly recommend staying at Glenlee guest house.

Bob and Tom give first class service, with a welcoming pot of tea and cake when you arrive. They also serve excellent evening meals every day except Wednesdays, which is unusual for a Guest House these days and well worth recommending. It’s a popular holiday spot on a quiet road near the seafront, with parking on site and along the road.

Glenlee is a short walk from town and the beach, and the hosts really can’t do enough for you. Bob and Tom welcomed us warmly, invited us into the lounge for tea or coffee and cake, then showed us to our superb, spotless room, room 8. We had both breakfast and dinner booked, and the meals were absolutely superb. I can recommend the Glenlee very highly.

Every time we leave, sadly, we book for the following year. We’ve been staying at Glenlee for over 30 years, and we honestly wouldn’t choose anywhere else. We love the homely feel and the warm welcome from Bob and Tom. The food is fabulous, with lots of breakfast choices, plus excellent evening meals that are especially welcome when the British weather doesn’t play ball. Nothing is too much trouble, from special meal requests to help with bags or advice about local attractions. Already looking forward to August 2024.

It’s always hard to come home after a visit to Bob, Tom and Team at Glenlee. The room was wonderfully comfortable, the hosts are great, and breakfast was delicious. Thoroughly recommend.
