I’ve been coming to this local for 20 years and have seen quite a few different management teams. They’ve all been great in their own way, but this one has gone above and beyond for what the locals need. The staff are very friendly and good to look at too. I’m here for Blues weekend at the moment and having a ball!

We had a family meal at the Red Lion in Swanage today and felt at home straight away. Turk was a fantastic host and brilliant with my young family. We were shown to a lovely table right away, and the menu had lots to choose from. The food was amazing and the setting was fantastic. We’re heading home tomorrow, but we’ll be back in October and will definitely visit the Red Lion again. I’d highly recommend it, it won’t disappoint!

We came across this pub by chance and were so glad we did. The service was great, everyone was friendly, and the Guinness was great too. Dogs are welcome. There are two sides to the pub: one is smaller, with a roaring fire, and the other is bigger and has space to eat. The owner goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. We’ll be back.

What a find. The Red Lion has great food, a good range of beers and ciders, and top-notch staff. Its Sunday roasts are great value too. I’d happily recommend it.

The manager, Turk, was friendly and attentive, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We had excellent food in a beautiful old English pub with exactly the atmosphere you hope for. It’s the best pub we’ve been to in a long time. We’ll be back soon!
