Judie and Clive served us a first-class breakfast, plentiful and really tasty, and I enjoyed chatting with Judie afterwards. The customer service was excellent, and my partner and I had a very enjoyable one-night stay. In all my years staying in B/B's, I'd rate Town Hall Lodge among the very best. It's clean, comfortable and quiet, right in the heart of Swanage and perfectly placed for going out and about. There aren't parking facilities of its own, but it's easy to find spaces on nearby streets, so that didn't take away from our stay. Highly recommended. Thank you, Judie and Clive!

The room and ensuite were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the place was quiet. It's very central, handy for shops, the beach, the South West coastal path, pubs and restaurants. The food was good quality. We stayed in a quiet part of the year and found a good spot on an unrestricted road, but parking is something to consider in busier periods.

The rooms are small, so they're not really suited to spending a night in, but everything was absolutely spotless. Parking is difficult, so allow extra time. It was a strange experience booking a guesthouse during a pandemic. For distancing reasons, I was the only guest allowed to stay at the entrance, so I didn't see anyone until breakfast the next morning, which was served al fresco. The menu was good and the weather was kind. A lovely place to stay.

We were really impressed when we accidentally left a bag behind. Judie made a big effort to get in touch before we'd had time to travel far. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay: it was very comfortable, well placed for Swanage shops, restaurants and the waterfront, and the breakfasts were excellent, as other visitors have said.

Judie and Clive were both very friendly, and breakfast was delicious. I stayed for a week back in June. The location is gorgeous, just off the high street, with places to eat and the beach about a 5 minute walk away. There's no parking on site, but plenty of free street parking within a 10 minute walk. Finding a space adds to the fun!
