Our chalet was close to the beach, and the site was easy to park at and get around once we arrived. Oxwich Beach is a lovely 10-minute walk away, and there’s a nearby shop and takeaway with a limited food selection that still came in handy. Getting there by car took a bit of figuring out because of the one-way system. There’s a reception on site, and the chalets seem to mostly have two bedrooms. A great base for exploring Gower.

Clean, well cared for, and handy for the beach and other Gower sights. It had a decent fridge and cooker, plus Wi-Fi and laundry facilities. Dogs are welcome too.

Wanda was brilliant when we had car trouble, really caring, understanding and helpful. The luxury beach cottage felt like a home away from home, with lovely presentation and everything thoughtfully provided. The welcome pack was generous, and the kitchen basics like salt, pepper, tea and coffee were well stocked. We had a wonderful week and will be back.

The big drawback for us was the lack of sound insulation. With the bedrooms downstairs, we could hear every sound from upstairs, and that stopped the accommodation earning five stars. The place itself is lovely and newly built, and it’s a fantastic spot, about a 10-minute walk from an amazing beach. Wanda also made everything easy: friendly, quick to reply, and happy to help with anything.
