Berry Hall - Porty Eynon

The Gower was stunning, and we loved visiting Port Eynon and Oxwich. Garden Cottage was modern, spotless and incredibly well equipped, with thoughtful welcome touches from Wendy. We brought our big Labrador, and although holidays with him can be stressful, here we could actually relax. There were sofa covers, plus dog bowls, a towel, a Mud Daddy paw wash and lovely smelling shampoo. The enclosed garden felt completely safe, and Wendy's welcome pack had dog-friendly beach walks and restaurants. We slept brilliantly in the comfy beds and enjoyed relaxed evenings by the woodburner. Such good value, and the beaches are just a 10-20 minute drive away. We absolutely loved it and will be back. Huge thanks, Wendy.

The goldfinches nesting in the garden tree were a lovely bonus. We chose Berry Hall Cottage on friends' recommendation, and our short Gower break lived up to expectations. The cottage is well placed for walks, beaches and scenery, and on arrival we were impressed by how clean and well equipped it was. Wendy had left a welcome pack and lots of useful, interesting information about the area. Her generous hospitality and the cosy cottage made a real difference. Thanks to Wendy, we'd gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Gower.

This was our third visit, and Berry Hall Cottage was once again a wonderful place to stay. Wendy and Mark had decorated it beautifully for Christmas, and the cosy lighting and log fire made our couple of days feel special. The kitchen has everything, including a dishwasher, and the beds, bedding and couches are all comfortable and high quality. Dogs are safe in the enclosed garden. Port Eynon, Oxwich and Rhossili are only a short drive away. I'd give it six stars if I could!

We spent two weeks in Garden Cottage with our dog, and the area was very dog friendly. The village shop was well stocked, and the staff there were warm and helpful. Next door, the fish and chip shop served delicious food. Wendy and Mark were friendly and ready to help with anything. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and a good base for Rhossili, Oxwich, Broughton and plenty of other beaches.
