The staff were friendly and courteous, which was the positive. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend visiting in the current condition. There were stains on the walls and carpets, and the shower head holder was faulty, so the head kept falling out. The bedside lamps had electrical cables hanging freely, and there were too few sockets, so an extension lead and three-way block had been supplied.

We've stayed at many Ibis hotels and others in the group, and the service has always been great, with friendly, professional staff who are happy to help. The Swansea Ibis was even better during our last couple of nights there. Nicola sorted out the booking problem I'd caused, and everyone we dealt with was so helpful and a credit to the organisation. We're back in Swansea in a couple of months and wouldn't consider staying elsewhere. Thank you so much 😊

We were welcomed warmly, and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. The food was good, with a huge choice at breakfast. Housekeeping did knock twice in the morning, even though we'd booked a late checkout, which they hadn't been told about.

Guests can use the pool table for £1 a game. It's a good table with plenty of space around it, but it only takes coins. The hotel is cashless, so we couldn't get change at reception or the bar. That's my only real complaint, and it isn't the staff's fault. It probably just needs a card option. It also took us a while to figure out the lights. Putting the card in the slot did nothing until we found the little switch underneath.
