We loved the log fire, and the cottage stayed warm and cosy throughout. Helen had arranged a beautiful Christmas tree for our pre-Christmas getaway, which we really appreciated. Lower Mill is well appointed, with very comfortable beds, great showers and fluffy towels. The village pub was excellent, and the location is great too. We’d definitely stay again. Thank you, Helen!

We had a fabulous luxury stay at Lower Mill for a special birthday, with family, friends and dogs along. Helen and the team sent plenty of useful information at the right time about the accommodation, check-in and check-out, and the area, which we really appreciated. Definitely recommend.

The setting is stunning, surrounded by nature and just a short walk from Rhossili Beach. We enjoyed coastal walks and the views, then came back to a comfortable, homely place to unwind. The Lower Mill is a lovely, peaceful base for exploring the Gower Peninsula. Inside, it’s charming, immaculately clean, stylishly decorated and has everything you could need. The well-equipped kitchen made cooking and sharing meals easy and enjoyable. We had a wonderful weekend here and highly recommend it.

Lower Mill was great, and the house is a dream. It’s a bit grubby in places, but the beds are fantastic. It’s a paradise for dogs, and we’d have loved to stay longer.
