It's in a handy spot, close enough to the train station and with easy access to Swansea city centre. There's also a Tesco outlet nearby for essentials. Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the shower was clean and tidy.

Several times, the fire alarms went off around 2 a.m. and continued for hours. They clearly weren't being serviced properly. The building's maintenance is despicable, and the cleaning service was appalling. During the times cleaners supposedly cleaned our block of rooms, the toilet was never actually cleaned. Basic items included in the price were often missing, especially toilet paper, cleaning products for the shared kitchen, and tea and coffee supplies. I was also shocked by how the cleaning crew handled my belongings. I had left my toiletries neatly on the side beneath the window, but once they were on the floor among dust balls and grime. There was no excuse for leaving them there; it would've been easy to pick up the bottles and put them somewhere clean.

We were in flat 10, Room 5. The bedding was clean, but the walls badly needed paint and the floor was dirty and needed vacuuming. The toilet needs a makeover and smelled very unpleasant, with the shared accommodation. The fire alarm started at 6am and went on for HOURS. Nobody came or contacted us to explain what to do. Although checkout wasn't until 11am, we had to leave straight away because nobody came to switch off the alarm. When I emailed about it, I got a rude reply saying they wouldn't compensate us for losing part of our stay, and they offered no help. I felt very unsafe and wouldn't recommend it.

Once I’d called, the entry mix-up was sorted out. I’d missed an email and had the wrong PIN, so check for recent messages when you arrive. The place was spotless, and it was lovely to find coffee in the shared kitchen in the morning. A chair or two, or some hooks for clothes, would be useful in the room. Otherwise, it felt comfortable and safe for an overnight stay. Thanks.
