We were grateful for the room upgrade, especially with its lovely view of Mumbles Beach to wake up to. We chose this place because it's dog-friendly, which is hard to find, and the owner was hands-on and lovely to chat with. There's a thoughtful stash of things around the property, from towels for drying dogs and dog treats to a sewing kit, wine glasses, extra tea bags and shoe polish. Our room also had cereal, milk, orange juice, biscuits, Welsh cakes, coffee and tea. A microwave, even a shared one, would be a welcome addition. Still, it's a lovely place run by a lovely woman. Such a peaceful break, with fantastic sea views. Our room was gorgeous and clean, and we loved the extras: Welsh cakes, cereal, orange juice, tea, coffee, milk and toiletries that smelled lovely. Patricks boathouse is an amazing place. We'll be back, thank you so much ❤️

We had to find somewhere at the last minute because we were travelling with a dog, and this wonderful host took us in. The room was beautiful, with a fantastic shower and loads of space. There were plenty of nice treats for us and our fur baby. The location is brilliant, right by the shops and seafront, with a dog-friendly place to eat across the road. What more could you ask for?

Room 3B was spacious, very clean and had a huge bathroom. The breakfast bits were a nice touch. We stayed overnight for a golf trip with a friend, found parking easily on the main road, and getting in with the key boxes was straightforward.

The rooms were roomy and bright, and the bedding was okay. We had a lovely bay view from the top floor, though the lower rooms don't get the same outlook. Breakfast was continental style, with nice fresh milk, and there are restaurants and pleasant walks nearby. Getting there means taking a steep driveway between two shabby restaurants, and you can't park at the hotel, only on the main road or in the pay car park opposite. There's no lift, and our room wasn't serviced daily. We also spotted cobwebs on the central light fitting, though the entrance hall and staircase looked lovely.
