Princess Lofts 1 - 1 Bedroom Studio - Swansea

Cleanliness was only passable when we arrived, far below what I'd expect from a reputable place. The bed was more like a cot pretending to be a double, which felt misleading. WiFi was advertised throughout, but didn't work, and phone signal wasn't something we could rely on either. The shower barely produced any pressure, and a horrible drain smell made washing an unpleasant ordeal. Getting into the building was difficult too, like trying to gain access to a fortress, and I saw other guests struggling with the same thing. Before arrival, the process was a maze of hoops and excessive processing. Checkout was just as bad: go past 10am by even a minute and they take exorbitant charges from your deposit. I was also accused of theft and charged fees I believe were unjustified, including the equivalent of another night's stay. This was a frustrating, disappointing and disgusting experience at Princess Loft Apartments in Swansea. I can't recommend it. Save yourself the headache and steer clear.

The rooms were glorified shoe boxes, and the bathroom was more like a matchbox. Service was poor, and the whole experience was awful from start to finish. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Stay clear.

The bed and sofa were really comfortable, and the room was great. The galley kitchen had everything we needed. It’s about five minutes from town, with plenty of parking next door and a big Tesco nearby.

The Wi-Fi was basically unusable. Pages took 10+ minutes to load, and YouTube was stuck at 144p. Good luck if you're thinking of renting a room here.
