The course itself is lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. But the members really brought the experience down for us. Two groups of older men spoke to us as if we were children while we were out playing. It felt like they thought they owned the place. Not every member, obviously, but it put a real dampener on our round with friends last weekend.

It was raining heavily on the day of our booked golf, so I asked for a refund. I was told it was fine and would be processed, but I never received it. I wouldn’t recommend this course. There are several better ones nearby.

The setting is lovely, but the course was in poor shape. Mud was on all the greens, one had no flag, and three had hoses on them. One of those was completely waterlogged. The clubhouse was pretty awful too, with no service after the round and a kitchen that looked very dirty. I wouldn’t recommend it for a round or even a pint. Fairwood Park nearby is lovely, so I’d play there instead.

The views are phenomenal, and it was so handy having the rooms just across the yard. Breakfast was really tasty too. We held my brother’s surprise 40th birthday party here last weekend, and it went so smoothly. Everyone had a fantastic night, the staff were great, and Adrian was very accommodating throughout the planning. I really can’t fault the place or the people running it. We’ll definitely hold more events here and can’t wait to return! 👌🌅

Played on July 28th. The holes are very well designed and made for an enjoyable round. At £20, the green fee was great value in my view. I’d happily recommend it.
