The Village app was a nice perk, with discounts and good 5-7 happy hour prices. Parking was free and plentiful even with the hotel and gym busy. Breakfast had a good range, decent machine coffee, and scrambled eggs on the buffet, with other styles available to order. It's a short walk to the Marina or Swansea centre if you want to eat out or just stroll. Check-in was quick at the foyer screens. I was on the fourth floor and my colleague on the third. My room was nicely presented, and the air conditioning was welcome during the hottest week of the year. My colleague's air con didn't work, and even with a fan the room was uncomfortable and too hot to sleep well. On the last night, he left the window open because of the heat and was woken at 6am by loud music from gym classes below. I had trouble getting the TV working because it showed a weak signal, but staff told me to press 1 on the remote, which fixed it. We'd both stayed in other Swansea hotels, but this was my first time at the Village, and we had different experiences.

I come here for work every few months and can't fault it. The rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. I've only tried the gym once, but plan to use the pool another time. The check-in screens never seem to work for me, but there's always a helpful staff member around. Having a bar and grill on site, as well as a Starbucks, is great. I'd recommend it as a base if you're in the area.

Thanks so much to Adam and the team for making our stay great. We had a problem with the banking when booking breakfast, and Adam sorted it quickly. He also let the restaurant staff know it was resolved and brought us a high chair. Really grateful for the extra help. Thank you, Aaron, Becky and Livy.

Thanks to Taylor for getting me set up back down at the Village gym. It was a really easy process, including the 'my gym discounts' option. The facilities are good as always, and the new cold plunge is a nice addition :)

The room at Village Swanse was clean and nice, and had a cool temperature. Check-in went smoothly. Breakfast was really enjoyable, and the poached eggs were perfect. I asked the staff helping there for their names, and I think they were Sian and Tina, if I got that right. They were so welcoming and helpful. Thanks, I'd recommend staying at Village Swnasea. X
