We had three delicious breakfasts, with eggs cooked just right and lovely thick bacon. One morning we tried the Moroccan Tagine, which was really yummy, a bit like scrambled eggs with tomato, garlic, and olives. The breakfast room was cute, with fairy lights and homely furnishings. Cadi and Imrane were friendly and helpful, and Cadi had lots of local tips. We visited Llangennith Burrows, Worms Head, and Whiteford Nature Reserve, and had some lovely meals at local pubs. Room 3 had a really comfortable bed with a memory foam topper and a duvet of just the right thickness. The shutters and curtains made it easy to adjust the light and ventilation. It was late October, and the wall-mounted convection heater warmed the room quickly when needed. The bathroom was huge, with a massive cast iron bath, though I didn't get time to use it because we were out and about so much. There was also a private reserved parking space, so returning to our base was stress-free, and the space was close to the door when it was drizzly.

That walk to Rhossili Bay was breathtaking, and the Gower coast was a joy to explore. Back at Western House BnB, we loved the colourful, artistic rooms, the quirky garden and terrace, and the really comfortable Victorian bed. Our little dogs were made welcome too, with two lovely nights there in April 2025. Cadi’s local tips helped us make the most of our visit, and Imran’s egg tagine at breakfast was a real highlight. We’d love to come back with family, and hope Cadi and Imran can visit our glamping site in Suffolk one day. Thanks for a memorable stay.

We’ve been returning to Western House for nine years, and it still feels like coming home. The rooms are lovely and clean, breakfast is fabulous, and the house has the quirky character we enjoy. Steve and Pippa, and now Cadi and Imran, are such welcoming, kind hosts. Thanks again for a wonderful week.

We only had two nights at this iconic house in Gower, but it was easy to walk to the Kings head and the surf shop. The owners were super friendly, and there were different meals to choose from, including a Welsh breakfast or a Morocco Tagine if requested. Thanks to Steve, Pippa and Team.

We stayed here in September 2023, with four adults sharing two rooms, and would happily return. Breakfast was delicious, and the colourful home is full of handmade treasures. Steve and Pippa and their family, dogs included, made us feel very welcome. It’s a beautiful house in a lovely setting.
