A great local with friendly, welcoming staff, a good range of beers and ciders on tap, and good prices. Everyone's made to feel welcome and safe. You can pop in for a quiet drink, have a chat and a laugh with the staff at the bar, or see what's on at the weekend.

My favourite pub in the city. I lived in Swindon for a year and didn't start making friends until I began coming here. The staff are probably the friendliest you'll meet, and I made friends for life. They were incredibly accommodating whoever you were, even to a shy guy who had only recently moved back to the UK after years away. The food was good, and the drinks were strong and cheap. Whenever I'm back in the country, I'll come here again. It'll feel like home.

They don't pay bands for their work, then come up with excuses and lies. They'll be getting a lot of small claims court notices. The new owner has turned this place into a joke for live music.

Really bad service. They haven't paid the bands and are making up stories, saying I've left now. She took our invoice four weeks ago and said she'd get it paid. Four weeks on, it's lies on top of lies. We'll take it to the small claims court.
