Ty Taf Fechan B&B

So picturesque and simply lovely. We absolutely loved our stay, and hope to return in the near future. 100% recommend.

The parking was good and the views lovely, and despite the problems we still had a nice break. But the lodge felt really run down and needs money spent on it. We stayed for three nights and paid around £500. Getting in was a poor start, as we hadn't been sent the keybox code. We got it after a few phone calls. There was a used condom wrapper by the bed. It didn't really bother me, but it would bother some people. The main bed is a double, and the mattress felt about 20 years old, with the springs gone, so I slept in the single spare bed instead. The hot tub lid was broken and took two people to heave back into place. The jets and speaker didn't work either. I had to screw the handle back onto one of the cooking pans because it was coming apart, though that wasn't a big deal. One towel rack was hanging off the wall, and some wall patches had filler but no paint. To rub insult to injury, there was a wasp nest above the bedroom window, so we had to keep the windows closed and it got very hot. In my opinion, it wasn't worth the price.

Beautiful views and a really relaxing stay.
