The views across Teignmouth Harbour were great, and we could come and go whenever we needed. Parking is tight, but there was enough space on the property, which is unusual for this location. The owners and their dogs were very welcoming and offered far more than we could have needed. Our room was large, quiet, airy and very clean. Excellent coffee too! Shaldon has limited car access everywhere, which is part of its charm.

The hosts made us feel so welcome and did everything they could to make our stay relaxing. There were three of us, including one teenager, so we booked two rooms for one night last weekend. Having both rooms meant we had the guests’ whole floor to ourselves. The layout worked perfectly, especially for families, since the children can have a separate room while still being nearby. Both rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and had fantastic sea views, as did the balcony. Ours also had its own seating area. I’d recommend staying here to couples and families alike. A big thank you to the hosts.

Nigel gave my aunt and me a wonderful welcome when we stayed for one night in July 2016. A great place with a great owner!
