Carrow Cottage

Julie was very helpful, and the welcome touches she left were much appreciated: milk, wine and brownies. The cottage is small and lovely, with the facilities you’d expect, excellent WiFi and parking right outside. The bedding was clean, fresh and lovely, and the mattress suited us. We’re both tall, though, and found the standard double bed a bit small. Mind your head on the low beams on the way to the bathroom. It’s compact but has what you need, including a bath with a shower. The TV was fine, with good Sky channels. Getting into Ironbridge was the tricky part, as it’s a long walk down a steep hill, which wouldn’t be great with a bad hip or knee. We drove instead, since there’s parking in Ironbridge, or you can park at the bottom of the hill. All in all, I’d recommend it.
