Berlin House

The rooftop garden is safe for children and big enough for the family to eat outside or have a barbecue. There’s plenty of space for a large family, and every bedroom has an en suite. The rooms are bright and airy, the beds are comfy, and everything is clean. The central location is handy, with the beach a few minutes away and shops, pubs and restaurants right outside. This was our fourth stay at Berlin House, and it’s always a pleasure, like home from home with everything you could need. Rhian is the best host I’ve come across. We’ll return for years to come. We stayed at Berlin House from 12th to 19th October. The location was great, the weather fabulous and the walks lovely, but the apartment’s cleanliness was an absolute disgrace. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the furnishings are good quality, which makes it such a shame. I couldn’t walk barefoot on the carpets. The kitchen was very greasy, and I had to clean some surfaces myself. Since it’s dog friendly, they should be even more vigilant about cleaning. I have photographs if required.

We always feel settled as soon as we arrive at Berlin House. There’s loads of room, a big terrace, a kitchen with everything we need, and a cosy living room. We’ve stayed as a family many times and wouldn’t choose anywhere else. Thanks, Rhian. See you next summer.

Really clean, and all the utilities worked fine. It was brill. A more up-to-date TV, maybe with Sky or Netflix, would be a nice improvement.
