Goscar Court 2

We spent a week at 2 Goscar Court with our children over half term. The harbour and town centre are close enough to walk to. We had excellent amenities, including DVDs, wifi, a washing machine and dryer, a dishwasher and a coffee machine. The beds and sofa were clean and comfortable, and the harbour view was outstanding. We parked on the top floor of the long stay multi story car park by Sainsburys for £20. We’d happily recommend it to families and will book again next year.

Sadly, this was our third and final stay at 3 Goscar court. It’s a wonderful flat in one of the best locations in Tenby, and we still enjoyed the stay and love Tenby, but our experience with Kate put an end to our visits. At the end of our previous stay, we’d had an issue with Kate, the booking agent, which I put down to a misunderstanding. This time my daughter said the bed was uncomfortable. I checked and found two broken slats in the middle, so she had to sleep on the floor. When I told Kate, she said she’d inform the owner. I asked for the bed to be fixed or replaced, but she said it wasn’t her responsibility and suggested my son sleep on the broken bed instead. When I followed up, she implied we’d broken it, saying the cleaner hadn’t reported damage and someone heavy must have jumped on it. I stopped communicating with her and said I’d leave feedback about our experience. Noise was another new problem this year: people were out late every night in the courtyards behind the property, waking us. I don’t remember noticing them before, but the windows don’t block the sound, so bring ear plugs.

The bay window is a lovely spot to take in the harbour, North beach, and the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline. Such a fabulous location.

I booked no.2 Goscar court through fbm holidays, and every window framed the harbour like a painting. The view was exceptional. Highly recommend.
