Premier Inn Tenby Town Centre

The staff deserve a lot of credit. Everyone was kind and attentive, and they made our stay lovely. The food was excellent too, so after enjoying dinner on our first night, we ate there for the other two nights as well. The sea bass was really good quality, the pizza was freshly made, and the kids’ meals were a nice size. Breakfast was great, as usual with Premier Inn. Our first room, 401, had a serious noise problem from the ventilation or air con units in the roof. It sounded like a train rolling overhead all night. We later learned it was a known, ongoing issue, and another guest nearby complained about the same thing. The staff were very apologetic, but Premier Inn needs to fix it or stop selling that room and the nearby ones. It’s not fair to put guests in there. The hotel is also a rather tired, older version of PI. Still, credit to all the staff, front and back, for making our stay a lovely one.

This place needs attention inside and out. The exterior looks tired and dirty, and it didn’t feel welcoming. Some staff were good, though one or two weren’t, and the food was very average. We use Premier Inn a lot, and this one needs a shake-up. In the evenings, locals in the bar could get quite rowdy. The bar itself is weird, with no bar. Maybe the staff could go to Porthmadog to see what really excellent customer service looks like.

The meal deal was great value, with a two-course meal, a drink and breakfast included. We especially like the Premier Plus rooms, which are cosy and comfortable. The hotel was clean, the location was brilliant, and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely recommend.

It’s only a 10-minute walk to the beach, and the rooms are comfortable. The food was tasty and the staff were amazing too. We couldn’t have hoped for a better break, and we’ll definitely come back.
