The bands had a great venue, with loads of room and an excellent dance floor. We were on the seafront, though our room had no view, and paid £300 for three nights during Tenby blues weekend. We were lucky to find a space in the car park. Our family room on the third floor was roomy, with a double bed and two singles, but one single squeaked too much to use. The bedding was clean and fairly comfortable. The small bathroom had hot water, and the towels were soft and clean. The room was unbearably hot even with the heating not working, and we couldn't open the window. We could hear people upstairs and on both sides. The lift was very slow. On our first night, the bar had just one staff member, who was busy checking guests in, so we couldn't get served. The Galley meal was mediocre and overpriced, though the staff were pleasant.

The room was neat and clean, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food and service were excellent, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Just a thought for the owners, a grab rail or two in the shower and some extra shelves there and above the sink might help. I'm unsteady on my feet. It's not a criticism, just something to consider. 10/10.

The customer service really wasn't what you'd want while staying away. When we raised an issue about water leaking from a light bulb, the staff seemed unconcerned about the danger and laughed in our faces. They were rude.

The staff seemed stretched thin, and the place didn't feel very welcoming. Our room was shabby and dated, and the scaffolding made the sea view pointless.

The sea view was great, but the room and shared areas were rough. I paid extra for a sea view and stayed Monday to Friday. At check-in, they asked for the full balance and handed me the key to room 405. The lift was dirty, with rubbish on the floor and greasy walls, and it hadn't been cleaned during our stay. The stairway area looked dated and needed decorating. In the room, the red carpet was worn and faded, the furniture looked nicotine-stained from another era, and there was a patch of carpet around the toilet. We worried about what might be living in it. Hot water was only lukewarm around 7:30 PM, so it felt like first up got the best of it. The TV was very small.
