The Southcliff

We’ve already booked for next year. The owners couldn’t do enough to help, and the hamper breakfast delivered to our room had an excellent choice of food and drinks. Everything was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location was great too, five minutes on foot to the town centre and two minutes to the beach. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a wonderful trip and made some great memories. The staff were welcoming, the room was great, and everything was very clean. It’s two minutes from the beach and centre, and there’s a bar too. After a long journey, it was nice to have the television in our room on the first night. We spent the rest of the week doing all the things we’d planned. Would definitely come again!

The Southcliff is a real gem, with the beach just a few minutes away and superb staff. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, with a very comfy bed, tub chairs and a table. Breakfast came to the room in a hamper, fresh, filling and really good quality. It’s a great start to the day, and the low-waste approach is a lovely eco-friendly idea. I’d thoroughly recommend it and will be back in the summer.

We visit often and always try to book here first. It’s a spotless, family-run hotel, and Jeremy and Brit are so welcoming. They go out of their way to meet your needs. The breakfast basket is excellent, and the new bar facilities are wonderful. Happy to recommend it for a lovely stay.
