Executive Apartments

My daughter paid over £600 for one of these two-bedroom apartments, where she stayed with her two children and me. We arrived quite late, at 4:40pm, and the keys weren't in the box, so we couldn't get in until 5:15pm. It was far too hot inside. The listing said there was a dishwasher and coffee maker, but there was neither. The place hadn't been cleaned to a good standard. I'm a head housekeeper, and the cooker was disgusting, thick with dirt, grease, and grime. The freezer was dirty and sticky, with food debris. The kitchen bins had never been washed out and smelled of cigarettes. There were tea and coffee stains on the skirting boards and heater, a dirty dusty table, and a wobbly dining table. The clock didn't work. The shower head was grimy, with thick limescale, and needed changing. The toilet roll was very cheap and horrible. It goes on. It wasn't worth the money, and they need better cleaners. I'd be sacked if I did my job like that. I feel sorry for my daughter after what she paid. We would not stay again at Eastate gate apartments Andover. They seriously lack attention to detail.

A nice, very clean apartment with everything you need for daily living. It's a short walk to food and shopping.

It's good value for the price, but shabby furniture and various things needing repair let the property down.

The house was nice, with a well-equipped kitchen, fridge and freezer.
