Hunters Hall Tetbury by Greene King Inns

We had such a nice evening catching up with a friend. The food was yummy, and Jamie, our waiter, was warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, and the customer service was excellent. Thanks, Jamie.

We stayed because the location worked well for seeing friends after a wedding at Kingscote Barn. The prices were reasonable, and the rooms were clean and tidy. Although check-in wasn't until 3, we met there at noon to leave our cars before the wedding. A staff member kindly gave us the room keys then, even though the rooms weren't ready, which saved us a return trip that afternoon. I really appreciated that. I can't comment on the breakfast or other food since we didn't eat there. Driving into the car park felt a bit like dodging a minefield because of the holes, so filling some of them in might help. That's a minor point for a stay here.

We come here for special meals and it never disappoints. The kids enjoy it too, especially exploring outdoors. This time we had a family birthday meal, and the welcome was hospitable, service prompt, and the food and drinks were great. Nothing was too much trouble.

We all enjoyed lunch, and there were lots of compliments about the food. It was lovely to have warm plates, too. Jamie, our server, handled our group's many menu questions with real patience and was very helpful. I'm sure we'll come back.
