The owner was friendly and helpful, and there’s seating outside. The lodge was well kept and had everything we needed for a self-catering break, with a lovely garden around it.

Such a shame the owner said she wouldn’t be letting the lodges anymore. It was a warm, welcoming place in a lovely location, and we thought it was a real lost gem. She mentioned she might rent directly, so we texted her, but didn’t hear back and had to find somewhere else.
