Bettyhill Hotel

We had an excellent stay and dinner. As many reviewers have said, the staff are fantastic and friendly, the view is amazing, and the room was attractive with a very comfortable bed. We upgraded at check-in to a room with an ensuite and a good shower. The staff and room were so good that we decided to have dinner at the hotel, and that was a good choice: our fish pie was delicious. On the overpriced, under-resourced NC500, this was good value for the money.

The views were beautiful, and the staff were really friendly. Food was delicious, and the clean, well-maintained rooms were really nice. It’s a lovely hotel on the North Coast 500 route. I’d recommend it and would definitely stay again.

A stunning hotel with good food and a really friendly team, especially Zack, who seemed to do every job there. The rooms are well furnished, spacious, and clean, with comfortable mattresses and good-quality linens. The food is tasty, if a little expensive, and breakfast was incredible. They even serve free Starbucks coffee with your meal. One thing to know is that the hotel is completely closed before the earliest check-in time of 3 pm, so don’t arrive early expecting to wait in the lobby. This might change, as we visited only a few weeks into the season.

We were so glad this place was right nearby while we were staying in Bettyhill for a couple of weeks. We ended up at the bar most evenings for the friendly welcome, good atmosphere, and Orkney Gold on keg. Dogs were made very welcome too. We ate there a few times and enjoyed the food.
