The room was luxurious, an easy 10/10, and Antoinette and Stephen made us feel so welcome. Our Connie the coo found a new friend in us. After breakfast, Antoinette sent us off with a big bag of food to feed their coos, Toffee, Apple and May. The best morning ever! We stayed one night on 12th Sept (2025).

The breakfast was gorgeous, and the place had excellent amenities and a lovely atmosphere. It’s a great spot for anyone who loves highland cows. Our host was so friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you for a perfect stay! ❤️

Breakfast cost extra, but it was lovely, and I liked the homemade jam. The room was warm and comfortable, with a large TV and a great view. We had a lovely stay in a beautiful place with a friendly welcome and a great location. I wasn’t keen on sharing a table at breakfast, though, as I’d rather have one to ourselves.

We were delighted by the views from our room, with lambs playing nearby and open countryside beyond. Breakfast and the room were excellent, and Antoinette and her family were very friendly. We even played pool with them in an adjacent building. I also felt completely confident leaving my cycle securely stored in an outbuilding. We had a wonderful stay at Valley View House 16th May 2025, and I’d highly recommend it.

A baby highland calf was born to one of the hosts’ cows during the night, which is quite an experience! The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, the bedroom and dining room were immaculate, and breakfast was delicious. Book direct on their website.
