Bossiney Bay

It’s a small holiday lodge park, quiet apart from the birdsong. The lodges are clean and well equipped, and Tintagel is an easy walk away. Reception were very friendly.

A footpath opposite the site entrance gives access to the stunning coastal path, and walking into Tintagel takes only 20 minutes along a safe, flat road. We also followed a footpath through the grounds to St Nectan's waterfall, which was well worth visiting. We had a really lovely weekend. The site is peaceful, with immaculate grounds and friendly, helpful staff. Our lodge was sparkling clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped. The hot tub was serviced daily and was very welcome after a day exploring. The decking was secure, so our dog could sit outside safely. Thank you, we’ll return. 😊

The site has direct access to the coastal path and walks to St Nectars Glen waterfall. Tintagel centre, with its pubs, restaurants, shops and sights, is around a 10-15 minute walk away. The private, self-contained lodges are excellent and nicely presented, and some have hot tubs. A quiet, peaceful place to retreat to after a long day of exploring or walking. Highly recommended if that’s what you’re after.

I booked three nights, then got a last-minute cancellation the day before I was due to arrive. They apparently require a minimum stay of four nights, but they took my payment and the jacuzzi fees without hesitation. Now, in the middle of a busy workday, I have to call them to get a refund and try to book another holiday at the last minute. Do not recommend!
