We stayed in room 20 in the Southcote accommodation, part of the Bossiney House Hotel, for two nights. It’s the section on the left side of the hotel. The room was a nice, modern, clean twin, with very comfortable beds and pillows, a big TV, a large wardrobe, a drawer cabinet, and facilities for making tea and coffee. The ensuite bathroom was spacious, with a shower and new towels. The sink seemed very small for the room, and the toilet seat was hard to open, but those were minor issues. There was a table and two chairs outside where we could enjoy the afternoon sun, and the garden at the back of the house was nicely kept. On arrival, we found the room key and receipt on a table by the hotel entrance, then the owners welcomed us shortly afterwards. The hotel restaurant is closed, so breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks at the bar are no longer available there. For breakfast or lunch, we’d recommend Charlie's Café & Deli, and for dinner, King Arthur's Arm. Both are in Tintagel, about a three-minute drive away. We can certainly recommend the Souhcote accommodation at Bossiney House Hotel.

There’s a lovely garden view, and the staff are friendly. The grounds are well kept, although part of the hotel is under reconstruction. The room and bathroom were clean, with a comfortable bed, pillows and new towels. There’s also a kettle with tea and coffee. Checkout is at 10am. A 15-minute walk gets you to restaurants, pubs, hotels, souvenir shops and King Arthur's castle. There are plenty of car parks nearby, and parking costs 50p.

I loved the place from the moment I saw it. The garden is well maintained, and the room was lovely and organised. You can enter from the corridor or through the door to the garden. There are chairs and a table outside, and I really liked the setting.

My wife and I stayed for one night and had a lovely time. The staff were lovely from arrival until we left. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the food was really good and reasonably priced. We’d stay here again.

Mike and Mary have made this a lovely hotel, and I always enjoy coming here. The staff are great too. The rooms are modern, with TVs and nice ensuites, and breakfast is lovely. It’s a short walk to Tintagel or Bossiney Cove, which has a great beach. I definitely recommend the place, and I’ll be back next year.
