Iroko

The rooms have Cornish character, with painted stonework and oak beams, some apparently made from old ship masts. The whole B and B is beautifully furnished and decorated, and felt cosy and comfortable. Breakfast had more choice than we could eat, especially save room for Lorraine's roasted tomatoes, they're divine. We stayed two nights for a wedding. On arrival, Steve and Lorraine welcomed us with coffee on the terrace. Steve even helped carry my bags and kitchen sink up to the room. Thanks to you both for a lovely stay.

Steve and Lorraine made us feel right at home and did everything they could to make the stay easy and comfortable. The house and rooms are beautiful, peaceful, and in a great location. Breakfast was delicious and generous. I really enjoyed staying at Millpool House, and the hospitality was second to none.

We were welcomed with all our wedding leftovers and more holiday clothes than usual, and they helped us with everything. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and had super comfy beds. The modern space still has lots of original character, and the bathroom is on another level. They've done an amazing job. Millpool House had only just opened when we found it at the last minute, so we weren't sure what to expect. All five of us were wowed. The beaches and coastal walks are close by, and since dinner spots can get snapped up quickly, Lorraine & Steve thoughtfully booked us a table at a local in Kingsand for our first night. They shared loads of tips and suggestions, and we enjoyed chatting and catching up about our lives. And the breakfast was yum, served when it suited us instead of at a strict time. We'll definitely return to Millpool House. Thank you, Lorraine & Steve, for making our stay what it was :)

Lorraine and Steve were friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. The old cottage has been beautifully restored and converted, with spacious, comfortable rooms and a well-equipped shower room. Breakfast was tasty, with plenty of variety. A relaxing, enjoyable stay, highly recommended.
