The entertainment was fantastic on all three nights, and the meals were lovely, with really good service from such pleasant, helpful staff. I had a lovely weekend at your hotel last week on a Turkey and Tinsel break. Everyone welcomed me when I arrived and helped carry my suitcase up a few steps to my first floor room. It was nice and clean, with plenty of tea and coffee. My friend's granddaughter had a food intolerance, and the staff did all they could to take care of her needs. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and hope to visit again soon. Thank you all so much. Have a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year. Norma Evans xxx.

The lifts were a bit temperamental, but I’d definitely stay here again. The room was spotless and we had a pool view, and it was about 8 minutes to town. The staff were so welcoming, the entertainment was excellent and the freshly cooked food was really good quality. I’m vegan and the chef got my meal just right. The place may need a little makeover, but it felt like home and we really enjoyed our stay.

A warm, comfortable hotel with friendly staff, great food and entertainment every night. It’s handy for local buses, and only a short walk to Torquay town centre and the harbour. We really enjoyed our stay at Ashley court.

Absolutely disgusting. Reception snapped at me when I asked a general question about how to get to my room and what time breakfast and dinner were. She didn’t answer, just said to sit in the lounge and everyone would be told. When I eventually found the room, it was dirty, with hair in the shower plughole and mould on the windows. It was noisy too, I could hear every word next door and their TV. I can’t wait to leave.

Back again at this wonderful hotel, and I’m looking forward to coming back once more. This time I was in room 16, with a nice comfortable bed and a lovely night’s sleep. Thanks to Angel for looking after me at breakfast, and to chef Paul, who I spoke to while he had his lovely clean chef whites on. Thanks to housekeeping too, this hotel really looks after you. I’ve enjoyed staying here before as well, the staff are very friendly, the room was lovely and clean, and breakfast was great. Thank you, Steve, hotel owner. Patrick from Bristol.
