Haven House

We had everything we needed, including tea, coffee, a hairdryer and a great breakfast, and slept really well. For our weekend break, the warm welcome and friendly, helpful host made this a lovely place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money, and we’d definitely come back on our next trip. Would highly recommend.

We've been coming back to this B&B for the past three years and always look forward to it. It's within walking distance of Torquay, and Alistair and Mel are such welcoming, friendly hosts. Breakfast is freshly made each day, with a great selection, and always served with a smile. We never regret staying here.

Alistair and Mel are genuinely interested in their guests and happy to share advice about things to do in the area. They make you feel at ease, so it’s easy to see why some people have returned several times. I had a wonderful stay. My room was very clean and had enough space for my things and clothes. Breakfast was lovely too, with cereal and cooked options, and both hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of choice each morning. Mel looked after front of house while Alistair cooked, and the fried breakfast was delicious every day, made with quality produce and cooked just right. There was plenty of tea, coffee, toast, juice and fruit too. Mel welcomed me after my five-hour drive and showed me to a clean, well-furnished room with everything I needed. It was refreshed daily, and finding two Celebrations in my room each time I got back was a lovely little touch. I stayed five nights at Haven House Torquay. The B&B is in a quiet spot, with free street parking and the promenade a ten-minute walk away. It's small, with just six rooms across two floors and only one flight of stairs. A wonderful stay with perfect hosts. I highly recommend Haven House.
