The owners are really nice, and I'd happily stay here again or recommend it. Kingsholm is a short walk from the theatre and town centre, with restaurants close by. I had a comfortable stay at Kingsholme. The room was well equipped, and breakfast was very good with plenty of it. The cakes in reception were a lovely touch, and I can recommend the ginger cake.

The harbour is only two minutes away, and I'd definitely return if I come back to this part of Devon. June, Carl and Lexi were fantastic hosts. The rooms were spotless, breakfast was superb with lots of choice, and there were thoughtful extras from afternoon cakes to an honesty mini bar.

The breakfasts were a real highlight, with quality food cooked just right. June & Carl are lovely hosts who make time to talk with guests, and the whole guesthouse feels welcoming, spotless, and well cared for. My single room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the en suite had a shower and toilet. Toiletries were provided, and the tea and coffee tray was replenished each day. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the harbour front and its many restaurants. Thanks for a lovely stay, I’d highly recommend it.

That freshly brewed coffee was something I looked forward to every morning, and the cookies left by the entrance each day were delicious too. The family hosting us were warm and welcoming, and made the place feel like home. The breakfast was great, especially the homemade granola. The Full English looked lovely, but the portions were so generous I didn’t try the full version. The host was happy to take one-off requests each morning and prepare what guests chose. Our small double room was nicely decorated, clean, and roomy enough, with all the little details taken care of. Parking was a big plus: the pass they gave us worked in Torbay council car parks, which was handy while travelling around Torbay. I’d definitely choose this B&B again if I return to Torquay.

The rooms were neat and tidy, and we felt very welcome. A great place, and we’ll definitely stay again.
