Newton House B&B - Torquay

We’d definitely stay here again. Our dog was very happy too, and the owners were pleasant and welcoming. We’ve just returned from a two-night stay, and the room was exactly as described on the website. Breakfast was very good.

The owners and their daughters were wonderful, friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel like old friends, almost as if we were at home. Brett and your beautiful daughters, thank you so much for looking after us. We’ll definitely be back. Our room was beautifully decorated with soft bedding and clean towels. They replaced the towels partway through our visit and cleaned the rooms daily. The location is fantastic, with regular bus services close by and the train station nearby.

We had a really enjoyable holiday, 10 out of 10, and will definitely return. Brett and his family made me, my partner and our little dog feel at home during our August stay. The room was clean and well furnished in shabby chic style, with tea, coffee and fluffy white bath towels. It wasn’t expensive, and the hotel is close to restaurants, bars and the Rivera attractions. There are parking spaces outside, and they didn’t charge for our little dog’s whole week. Newton House was the best place to stay at torquay. Thank you!

The room was lovely and clean, and the place itself was nice, but I wouldn’t stay here again. At breakfast, there was dog hair all over the oven gloves and some on my bacon. There was also hair on the carpet. The owner kept talking, so we couldn’t enjoy a peaceful breakfast. If you’re cooking with long hair, wear a hair net. I found a few long hairs in my food.
