We had a brilliant weekend at Roxedge for a celebration spanning several generations. The house suited our mixed family group perfectly, with loads of room, lovely bedrooms and great spaces for everyone to gather. The garden is beautiful, and we made good use of the pool table and cinema room. The hosts’ welcome gifts made it feel even more special. A lovely house in a beautiful spot.

We travelled as a family with ages ranging from 84 down to 2, and everyone loved the stay. The hosts were helpful and quick to respond, and we’ll be coming back. The holiday home is in a beautiful spot by the sea and has everything a large family needs. There’s plenty to do inside, and the outdoor space is well set up. The cinema room is well stocked with activities for children of all ages. Shops nearby have all the groceries you need.

We’d never had a holiday like this before, but we’d happily come again. The view was incredible, and we loved the hot tub, fire pit and all the things to do in the house, within walking distance or a short drive away. There were 14 of us, yet the place felt so spacious, with somewhere to relax in the cinema room, pool room, lounge or outside. The owners, Tina and Luke, were even better than the property. Their communication was fantastic, they kept us up to date and made us feel welcome with a hamper. When the BBQ ran out of gas, they replaced it without us even having to ask. I can’t recommend the place enough.

We had a fantastic four-day family break with 10 of us. The house was clean, well stocked and had everything we needed for a short stay. Tina and Luke were so helpful, and when I ran out of gas for the BBQ they replaced the bottle straight away. Great service. The location was amazing, and we had lovely weather. The welcome hamper was a real treat, with gifts for the children and good wine, biscuits and chocolates for the adults. We’ll be back next year. I can’t recommend the house, its location or the owners enough.

This was our second stay at Roxedge, which works perfectly for our family get-together and comfortably fits all 11 of us. The house has everything you could need, and the hosts thoughtfully provide the essentials and more. The hot tub is a fabulous new addition. The children enjoyed it during the day, and the adults relaxed in it in the evening. It’s well placed for Oddicombe beach and Babbacombe, and St Marychurch is a short walk away for any last-minute food shopping. We can’t fault the house and look forward to returning.
