The host was a very friendly, pleasant lady, and we were given keys so we could come and go as we liked. The house is within walking distance of town and the seafront. Parking cost us £8.80 for 24 hours, a couple of minutes’ walk away. Our room had fresh bedding, clean towels and robes, tea supplies, a kettle, and a large jug of fresh water. The bathroom is shared, but there are only three rooms, so it wasn’t a problem. We loved staying here and will book The Blue House again.

The continental breakfast was good, the room was tidy, and Jess was a welcoming host. It’s a cute, quirky B&B in a family home right in the heart of Torquay. The lack of security was a concern, though, since there are no locks on the guest rooms and the house is left unlocked too.

The family room is two bedrooms on the top floor, and the public car park is a minute away up a steep hill. The place was so clean, with a modern bathroom and comfortable bedrooms. We felt very welcome, and breakfast was amazing. It’s five minutes’ walk from the Torquay seafront. Thanks, jess, we’ll definitely visit again.

We had the family rooms, so the whole upstairs was ours, including a bathroom with a shower. Each of the three kids had their own bed, and they loved having a TV with Prime Video, Disney, Netflix, and YouTube. There was a wardrobe for all our clothes too. Our bedroom was great, with a comfy bed, TV with the same services, and a dressing table. We also had our own fridge, microwave, toaster, tea and coffee, and milk supplied. We’ve just come back from a lovely weekend in torquay and will stay here again when visiting the area. Thank you jess.

A beautiful, distinctive B&B in a good Torquay location. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and there were plenty of amenities. Great value for money, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting.
