The Osborne Apartments

Right on Meadfoot Beach, with on-site parking and easy access to the town centre, the location is fabulous. The apartment was quiet and warm, well appointed and equipped, with great attention to detail. We had a friendly welcome and efficient check-in. The hotel also has a great spa, gym, indoor and outdoor pools, bar and restaurant. This wasn’t our first visit, and it certainly won’t be our last.

The Osborne apartment gave us a great holiday by the sea, in a sheltered spot overlooking it. It’s spacious, with views over Torbay, and the indoor pool and gym are a nice addition. The Osborne club provides a high standard of accommodation and has great facilities. The rooms are refurbished regularly, and the staff are happy to do whatever they can to make your stay good. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a great few days just before Christmas at Osbourne Apartments, with our two kids, aged 6 and 9. The apartment was perfect, very well equipped and exceptionally clean, with phenomenal views and lovely outdoor space. We had good weather, so the kids could use the park. The beds were comfortable, the showers powerful and we couldn’t hear any neighbours, though I’m not sure how busy the apartments were. The pool is dated and the facilities are basic, but everything was clean and we enjoyed it. The hotel looked lovely when we popped in, and there was plenty of parking. It’s an easy walk into Torquay town centre. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant menu looked very nice. Hopefully we’ll be back in the warmer months!

The one small drawback was low water pressure in the showers. The lift to our top-floor apartment was out of order as well. We understand that things like this can happen and parts may have to come from around the world, but climbing the 50 stairs was tiring. We managed, though, and I’d book here again. I hope the weather is warmer next time so we can enjoy the terraces and outdoor pool. The apartment was clean and spacious, with a kitchen that had everything needed for a short stay. The grounds were well maintained and the pools looked sparkling. It was wet and cold while we were there, so we only used the indoor pool.
