Totland Youth Hostel

We’ve been bringing our company, Outdooraholics, to this hostel for eight years. Bob the manager has been fantastic, always making upgrades, and nothing ever seems too much trouble for him. The rooms are lovely, and you can head straight out for superb hikes from this perfect location. We visited again in December recently and the place was lovely and warm. A great hostel, thanks Bob, and keep up the hard work!

The car park ramp is surprisingly steep. The rest was comfortable and clean, with large airy rooms for meals, two lounges, table tennis, and well equipped kitchens. The area is nice, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was an excellent cooked one.

The cooked breakfast wasn't bad, and dogs are welcome for just £10 for the whole stay. The people in charge were super friendly, and the hostel has great facilities, including a small function room. It's lovely and so close to The Needles. I'd stay here again! X

The hostel is in a good location, and the staff were cheerful and quite helpful. The rooms are okay, though four people in one room would feel claustrophobic. The common kitchen has good amenities, but it closes from 9-12 in the morning for cleaning and shuts completely after 9 PM. That seems a bit odd for a hostel where people are around to have a good time. We tried breakfast too. It was okay, but could be improved.
