I had a great night’s sleep in a clean, cozy room, and the shower pressure was excellent. The staff were friendly and cooperative, with superb service. Free parking on site and great value too. It’s every bit as good as any well known hotel chain. I’d definitely recommend considering it.

A basic hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. The pub downstairs was closed for renovations, but there are small shops and takeaways within walking distance.

On Saturdays, prices in Mncr are so high that I looked further out for a gig at o2 Victoria Warehouse. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from either Navigation Road or Altrincham station, with a direct train from Piccadilly. An adult day rider on the trams costs £4.90. For the gig, change at cornbrook and get off at Exchange Quay. Trams run until around 00:00 all week and later on Saturdays. Staff were polite and friendly, the rooms comfortable, and they had toiletries, tea, coffee and a hairdryer. The shower was good too. Shops and takeaways are about five minutes away. It’ll be great if the pub reopens.

The outside was being renovated. The rooms seemed reasonably good, though I only saw one member of staff.
