Travelodge Manchester Sale

The receptionist and room cleaner were both lovely, and parking was easy. We slept well in a clean, comfortable room. I've stayed in some disappointing Travelodges, so this one was a pleasant surprise. I'd stay again.

We had two large family rooms, both very clean and just right for us and our four children while work was being done at home. The staff made everything easy and were incredible with the kids. They had a high chair ready before we came down for meals, and even made paper aeroplanes with our son and flew them with him. I'm so grateful to them. They really make the place.

I've stayed in other rooms here and they've been okay, but room 107 was by far my worst stay. We got in at 12.30am after a night flight, and the keycard wouldn't open the door, so we had to use a master key. The carpet had bits all over it and the room smelled awful, damp and stale. The two single beds looked used, though the double was comfortable. The room had a double and two singles even though we only needed a double. The aircon and heating didn't work, but there was a plug-in heater. By morning I couldn't bring myself to shower and just wanted to leave.

The rooms are more basic than at other Travelodges, but they were super clean and tidy. The atmosphere and service were very pleasant and relaxing, and you can have a conversation with reception.
