WW Apartments - Seymour Grove

Thanks to the staff at Throttles Nest for letting me check out an hour later. I hope they can make a few changes, though. One bed squeaked badly, while the other was comfortable. The heater in that room didn't work, so on the cooler evenings we had to move the portable radiator from the living room into the bedroom. We stayed four nights, but there weren't any pots or pans for cooking. Eating out for every meal would have been unhealthy and expensive, so luckily I'd brought a small pan and a couple of other things. There wasn't even a sponge cloth to wipe up after cooking, and I left one behind. Sorry to the staff for leaving some vegetables in the fridge.

The place is listed under different names: the signs on the street and building say Throstles Nest, while booking.com calls it Green Apartments Manchester. The rooms are dated, and there's a steep damage deposit. For somewhere described as luxury and executive, I expected at least shampoo, a hair dryer, and a bathroom bin. The walls have holes and marks, and some furniture is very worn or has torn upholstery. There was no wifi, and cell reception was terrible. The so-called garden is just a patio table, without chairs, between two parking lots.

Our room cost £180 for one night, and this was the state it was in. On arrival, they also charged a £250 damage fee, which I hadn't been told about before visiting. I wasn't given a refund, and more than a week later I'm still waiting for my damage deposit back. Disgusting.
