Sam is a wonderful host who goes out of her way to make sure you have a lovely stay. We first came in August 2019 and were meant to return the following year, but the pandemic got in the way. This was our second stay, and the cottage is still immaculate, with everything you need. The views are stunning, and South Stack is just up the hill. The garden is a big hit with the kids, especially the trampoline, and our sausage dogs love running around out there. Inside, there are three three-seater leather sofas in the lounge and Sky Q, plus a Bluetooth sound cube, a small but useful detail. The kitchen has all you need, making this converted farm cottage feel like home. WiFi downstairs reached speeds up to 866mbps, the highest I noticed though it may go higher. It drops off in the master bedroom, but is still OK. Thank you ♥️
We’ve stayed at ty nant twice this year, and both visits were absolutely spotless. It has everything you need and more. Sam, the owner, couldn’t do enough for us. We’ll be back again in the future.
A lovely, peaceful place with fresh air and sea views. At night you can see the lighthouse beam sweep across the inlet, and when it’s foggy, hear the sea horn. Through a gap in the valley, you can watch the ferry setting out from the back of the site. It’s a gem of a basic site, with EHU, water and an Elsan point. The Elsan point is a walk away, so it’s best to empty sooner rather than later. In good weather it’s a wonderful, relaxing spot. I’m less sure how it is in the wet, as the site is on a sloping field and you’ll need chocks.
We really enjoyed our stay.
