The view was the one good thing, but the place was poor and dirty. The shower had black mould, the bath had ingrained tide marks, and the black window frames had cobwebs that looked long-established. The bathroom walls and blind were filthy. The furniture was uncomfortable and needs replacing. I even found a piece of clothing beside the armchair. Kitchen items didn’t match, and one glass still had food on it. We washed everything before using it, and I was glad we’d brought our own cooking gear. There wasn’t even a pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived.
