The friends who stayed there recently said the breakfast was good and the hosts were very kind and helpful. Still, they found the room much smaller than expected, with a rather grubby carpet and a tiny television. The place also looked quite tired. They had booked because the website said the facilities were private, but they had to share with someone else, and the bathroom was down the hall. That mattered to them when choosing where to stay, so they wouldn't return.

Kay and Neil made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was fantastic, freshly cooked by our helpful hosts. The location worked brilliantly for getting to both sides of Cornwall. Our room was a little small, but it was very clean, and the shower was incredible. I love a powerful shower.

We were Kay and Neil's first paying guests, and Kay was understandably nervous about getting everything right. There was no need to worry. They were perfect hosts and went above and beyond for us. The place was clean and comfortable, better than most hotels I've stayed in. We really enjoyed our visit and would happily book again. If you like a friendly B&B with a personal touch, this one has it all. Well done, Kay and Neil. 10 out of 10.

A lovely couple run the place, and breakfast in the morning was excellent. The room was clean and had everything you'd need for a short stay. Couldn't ask for more.
