The cottage's warm, homely feel stood out straight away, and we slept very well and had plenty of time to unwind. It has been lovingly restored over many years, and we could easily imagine staying there forever. Chris made us an incredible breakfast each morning, fresh and just how we liked it. We were cared for so warmly that we felt like royalty. Chris and David are wonderful hosts who truly care about their guests' well-being. We might have chatted even more if our English had been better. Using a translator always feels like a compromise. Sadly, our plans and work back home meant our lovely stay had to end. We'll recommend this welcoming place to our friends. We wish you success with all your plans and ideas, and God's blessing and protection in your lives.

Cornwall's most charming B&B, in my view. The location is great, it's spotless, and the owners are so friendly. The Full English was tasty and well worth having.

My wife and I were in Cornwall for a wedding and spent two nights at Spring Cottage. The hosts were fantastic, the cottage lovely, and breakfast superb. I've stayed in plenty of B&Bs over the years, but this is one I'd definitely come back to.

After a nine-hour journey, we were welcomed at Chris & David's cottage with tea and scones, and felt at home right away. The place is beautiful, warm and well equipped, with everything we needed. Our room was cosy, too. Chris cooked a delicious breakfast each morning, with lots to choose from. Both hosts were so welcoming that we could happily have spent hours chatting with them. I also managed to book a last-minute massage during our stay, as David is a trained massage therapist. I loved it. We had a genuinely perfect visit and would love to return soon.

Our self-catering stay was at 2 The Court, Fore St, Probus, managed by Chris & David from Spring Cottage. The village has a good pub and a farm shop, and it's a handy starting point for exploring nearby. Chris gave us a lovely welcome, complete with homemade scones and clotted cream. Delicious! The cottage was cosy, comfortable and very well equipped.
