We were made to feel at home by Russell, Tony and the whole family, and the food was probably the best of the four places we stopped on our annual bike trip. Dinner was incredible, breakfast was just as good, and the bar had a nice atmosphere. The young women serving our group were brilliant, cheerful and helpful. It was lovely to spot a familiar face when we arrived, too. A couple of the guys thought the rooms and shared toilet and shower areas felt small, but we only needed somewhere to sleep and wash, so it wasn't an issue for us. My bed was comfy, the location quiet, and I slept really well. Even if they're full next year, we'll try to come back for a meal. I reckon it's the best meal in Ullapool at the moment.

We only came for a meal, so I can't speak to anything else, but it was a Jen 10 out of 10. I don't normally eat fish and still had two fish courses, scallops and smoked salmon. Both were so good. The fish is fresh and properly cooked, so even if fish isn't usually your thing, you'll like it here. Service was excellent too, with staff regularly checking back to take drink orders. You don't get that in Yorkshire. Can't wait to eat here again.

The meal at the Morefield was great and really good value. My husband loved the haggis bonbons, and the salmon was beautiful. They let us bring our dogs into the outside area, which has heaters and TV screens. We hadn't stayed here before, but booked a double room for the night since we had a ferry to catch in the morning. The hosts were lovely and gave us plenty of useful information. Looking forward to breakfast.

The food was easily the best part of our visit, really tasty and served in generous portions. The room was basic, but had what we needed and a comfortable bed, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We'd definitely like to come back.

We arrived on our motorbikes cold and hungry, and the warm, clean room and hot showers were just what we needed. The staff were so helpful: they took our wet jackets and helmets to dry overnight and let us put the rest of our things in the tumble dryer. Dinner was excellent, the beer choice was great and well kept, and breakfast was even better. Can't recommend this place highly enough. We'll be back next year, thanks again.
