We wish we’d had longer here. Everything was spotlessly clean and modern, and our well appointed room had lovely homely touches, including bottled water and biscuits. The views are simply stunning, breakfast was delicious, and it was worth every penny. The welcome was warm from the moment we arrived. The customer lounge is huge, with comfy chairs and glorious loch views. We picked up takeaway food and wine and beer, then came back to enjoy it there. Plates, cutlery and glasses were available, just as we needed. We can’t thank you enough for such a memorable stay, and hope to return.

We stayed one night before our ferry crossing to Harris, and it was well worth it. The rooms were lovely with great views, and breakfast was really good. The welcome drink was a nice touch. Very friendly, helpful staff and exceptional service. Would highly recommend a stay.

If you’re travelling the North Coast 500, Ullapool is well worth a stop, and this is a fantastic place to stay. We had an excellent cooked Scottish breakfast included, and the staff and service were excellent. If you’re lucky enough to book one of the pods, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views.

We had a room with a loch view, more than spacious enough for the two of us, and a decent-sized bathroom. The room was very clean and everything looked new. Our kids had their own room with two single beds. The owner welcomed us with a glass of whisky and homemade shortbread, and breakfast was fantastic. We could order from the kitchen. A good place for a night or two if you’re doing the NC500, and we’d recommend staying here.

The people running the place were very friendly. Breakfast was good, and they had some nice cheese. It’s a short walk into the centre of Ullapool, but far enough out to be quiet. The yard behind the hotel was pretty, with a couple of park benches to sit on. I was disappointed by my room. The pictures online made the rooms look large with wonderful views, but mine was tiny, like a postage stamp, and I couldn’t even open the bathroom door all the way. The individual cabins facing the lake are different from the regular rooms. I didn’t book the room myself, the tour company did, so perhaps they explain that distinction during booking.
