Summer Isles Hotel

We only had dinner here last night, we didn't stay at the hotel, but it was a fabulous meal and we all enjoyed it. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was lovely, with local art on display. The dining room has stunning views, so it's fine dining with a view. Already looking forward to coming back.

Getting here isn't the easiest, but once you're settled, you can enjoy sheep wandering around and a nice coastal walk. Our lodge had two bedrooms, a kitchen and living room, with a real fire we could light. The views from our lodge weren't much to look at, as it faced other lodges or fields, though you can see the sea from the restaurant. The rooms are well supplied with extra quilts and pillows, an ironing board and iron, hot water bottles, a hairdryer and towels. My one moan is that they could do with a magnifying mirror for us oldies! The food was excellent. I had a cheese and chive soufflé to start and fillet steak for dinner, and both were delicious.

We can't wait to come back. Management and the team gave outstanding service, and the food was freshly cooked and delicious. The rooms were really spacious and the beds comfortable. Love from Claire, Gary, Pam & Chris, the couples on the bikes.

We had a comfortable, pleasant stay in a pretty, clean room. Everyone on staff was really friendly. The hotel has a little pub and bar that was brilliant, and both dinner and breakfast were lovely. There are nice views from the hotel too.
