The touring area is kept tidy, the shower block is decent, and the site has everything you need. The staff are brilliant, always saying hello and willing to do whatever they can for you. The manager or owner, the man who doesn’t wear a uniform, was the rudest person I’ve met while touring around the UK. He should take a step back, see how the staff treat customers, and maybe try doing the same himself.

We spent four nights in the two-bed Dollywagon apartment, and I’d happily book it again. It was exceptionally clean and one of the most comfortable apartments I’ve stayed in. The setting is beautiful, with fantastic views across the lake, and Pooley Bridge is within walking distance. If I could give it more than five stars, I would.

The site was really clean and quiet, just a short walk from poorly bridge. We spent two nights in a dog-friendly pod, which had a kitchen, shower and toilet. It was the best pod we’ve stayed in, and we can’t wait to come back, either for another pod or with our campervan. Highly recommend!

We hired a motor home and found the park lovely and quiet. The toilets and showers were very clean, and the facilities were great. I didn’t use the laundry room, but thought it was a nice touch. They also had a doggy bath, another nice extra.

The welcome was lovely for us and our dogs, and the cottage was spotless with everything we needed. We rented the four-bedroom place on the park. It was first class, with beautiful walks right nearby. We’d happily recommend it and plan to come back.
