River View

That window seat looking out over the river is such a relaxing spot. The apartment itself is stylish, comfortable and has everything you could need, with lots of books and leaflets about the area as well. Lee and Wendy were brilliant hosts and happy to offer advice on things to do and places to visit. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly book again. Thanks to them both.

The pub across from the train station serves great food, and there are lovely walks you can reach on foot. We went with our little one, who was thrilled to watch the steam train from the flat and car park. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your beautiful flat. We loved the break from busy city life and would definitely recommend it.

There’s plenty to do within a five-minute drive, and walking routes are close by, so it works for either a quiet getaway or a more active stay. The apartment felt peaceful, and the views were lovely in both sunny and cloudy weather. We were amazed by how spacious it was, and everything was so clean and tidy. The furniture was laid out nicely, and the modern kitchen was beautiful and stocked with all the appliances we needed, including a dishwasher. There were coffee capsules and little milk packets, plus a modern TV with Netflix, a speaker for our own music and board games. Entry instructions in the Airbnb app were very clear. Stayed here with my two sons and loved it. The place was spotlessly clean and in a fabulous location. We’ll definitely be back.
